Day Eighty-Eight: Annoyed
Sometimes, it's clear that Ollee gets tired of me taking her picture. In fact, a friend came to to conclusion that she chewed my phone sync cord out of retaliation.

Day Eighty-Seven: New Hiding Place
After her recent bath, Olls has been jumping in the bathtub, just to hang out. Once I found her, she didn't seem to like that I knew about this new hiding place...she didn't stay in there too long.

Day Eighty-Six: Long Legs
This toy lasted about 2 days...she is really becoming a chewer! I love that this pic shows how long her legs are getting. She's so disproportionate--so much more growing to do!

Day Eighty-One: Getting Bigger
Even though her pictures tend to look like she's a little pup, she's actually getting bigger...though I think that she's in a growing stall right now.

Day Eighty: A Moment of Sun
Today, Ollee hung out with me and my nephew, CW. After spending some time in the car, I thought she would enjoy a nice walk. I was driving through downtown and the sun was shining for the moment, so we headed down to waterfront. She also needs a great amount of practice when it comes to not jumping on people or pulling the leash when she walks by people along the way...and this was perfect!

Day Seventy-Nine: Sleep? What's That?
This morning, after not getting to sleep until after 4a, Ollee was kind enough to let me sleep in until 7:30a...Being a morning person, I have clearly created a morning dog! She would not let me sleep at all the rest of the morning, as each time that I started to doze off, this is what I was treated to:

Day Seventy-Eight: Relaxing
Ollee played a lot today...I left the back door open and she kept running in and out, back and forth...then she crashed, hard!

Day Seventy-Seven:Doggie Movie Time
Tonight I watched "Eight Below." It's a story about sled dogs being left behind in Antarctica through a winter and the love of their person, who worked endlessly to get back to bring them home. Everytime that the dogs were on the screen, Olls perked up and watched intently. The picture here was dark--so now it's grainy, but in order to see the dogs on the tv screen it had to be.
On a side note...at this point in the night, Ollee was my friend again. She spent most of the day being very naughty and evil...getting me back for being gone so long the past few days.

Day Seventy-Six: Thank Goodness You're Finally Home
Like yesterday, I had a long day at work...luckily today was not as long! Tonight, like last night, Olls was attached to me when I got home. I couldn't even go to bed without her begging to come up and snuggle. Of course, I gave in....

Day Seventy-Five: Attached
Today was the first day of two 12 hour work days for conferences. Today ended up being a 14 hour day, because of a few that ran over...llloooonnnggg day. I am a lucky girl, in that I have a wonderful pops that is willing to come over and let the pups out, and play with her to let out all that energy. Not sure what I would do with out him! Ollee's report was a good one, though jumping seemed to be a problem, and she piddled in her kennel, when she saw him--can't blame her, she got excited that there was a new person to hang out with, after holding it for quite awhile.
Anyway, the moment I walked through the door, Ollee hasn't left my side. She's not too interested in playing, she just wants attention, tons of attention.

She wouldn't even let me step away from her enough to get a picture, hence the close up nose shot! |

Day Seventy-Four: Thunder Storm
With the thunder storms, Ollee is a bit nervous, and scared--as a little 5.5 month old would be during their first storm! So she stayed close to me this evening, and when the big thunder rolled, I brought her up and snuggled her for safety :)

Day Seventy-Three: Poor Pups!
One of the first toys that I got Olls was a stuffed dog, with a 2010 scarf on. It looks like a regular stuffed animal, except that it has squeakers in it's hands. Well, tonight...
Ollee loved it so much... |
...that she ripped the ear off! To the left, you can see it in her mouth...she is so proud of herself! Poor stuffed pups, never saw it coming...he looks a bit off balance now!

Day Seventy-Two: Watching the Storm
A pretty good storm came through this afternoon--loads of rain and wind. Ollee spent the entire time watching safely from her warm, favorite spot.

Day Seventy-One: More Play with Ollee's Bestest Buddy
Awhile back I posted some pictures and videos of Ollee with my friend Pete--who she ADORES!! We tonight we went down to see my friends Pete and Michele again, and Ollee wouldn't leave his side! To see the last time they were together, click here. She has grown a lot since day 15!!
Ollee and her favorite person, Pete--he can't wear her as a scarf now (see previous entry, here) |

Day Seventy: "Throw the ball...Please!"
Ollee LOVES fetch...she's extremely good at it when playing indoors. Now that there are more nicer afternoons, we are starting to play outdoors. She isn't quite as good at bringing the ball right back, as there are too many distractions...but she does eventually bring it back! :)
Here is a video of her catching on to playing fetch outside:

Ollee is Featured!!!!
Today, Ollee's blog is featured on the 365: Make Something Every Day and Change Your Life Blog! So very exciting!!! Click here to check it out!
Day Sixty-Eight: Fetch, Anyone??
As with all puppies, Ollee has energy, especially in the mornings. This morning, like most, she wanted to play fetch. Of course when I tried to capture it, she wouldn't stay still...so the first picture is a bit fuzzy.
"PLEASE...throw the bone!!!" |
"I know you have to get ready for work, but come on, play with me...FINE, don't!" |

Day Sixty-Seven: Need a Snuggle?
It always amazes me the love that a dog gives when you're not feeling well. Ollee certainly knew this evening that I needed some extra love. :) These were taken while she was curled up on the couch with me.
And this one shows her long eyelashes! To see her lashes up close, click here. |

Day Sixty-Six: Lost Teeth
Usually, when puppies lose their teeth, the only signs left behind are the chew marks on your shoes, holes in your carpets and socks, or teeth marks on your furniture. Rarely do you find the actual baby teeth that are falling out, and being replaced by the big teeth. This morning, I noticed that Olls was chewing on something odd. When I went to investigate, low and behold, it was one of her teeth!

Day Sixty-Five: Eyelashes
Ollee has very long and pretty eyelashes. I tried to capture them. Can you see them behind her fuzz??
They are actually pointing diagonally to the right, in this picture. Look closely.

Day Sixty-Four: Loving the New Toy!
Today was Ollee's last round of vaccinations. At the vet, she was weighed, and she's up to 33.8 pounds! Since the vet is at PetSmart, we always wander through to see what new toys we could pick up.... Thanks to my Aussie friends, I discovered how much Olls loves the Kong Air Dog balls. I was checking out the different shapes and sizes, thinking that though the one that was from Oz was still in working order (though missing all its green fuzz), she may enjoy another. I found one that was in the shape of a bone and she hasn't put down since we got home.
Side Note: Yesterday I posted a picture that showed how long Ollee is...today, I captured one that shows how squatty she is :)

Day Sixty-Three:I'm Getting Tall...Sort Of
Ollee has grown a lot, yet she hasn't gained a lot of height, lately. She is getting longer! It always amuses me how as big dogs grow, they become disproportionate. My last dog, Haylee, got her legs first. She was this little pup with SUPER long legs. Ollee seems to be the opposite, she's get a long, big body, on squatty legs. Hays grew to match her long legs, over time. I'm sure Ollee will do the same!
It's a very grainy picture, but it shows how tall (long) she's getting. That's my bedside table behind her. |

Day Sixty-One: Happiness
My friend Robin stopped by today, and Ollee had to practice her social skills--which she is still working on, by the way. After jumping (which is one of those things she's working on) and playing fetch with Robin, Olls was SO happy, which can clearly be seen in these pictures :)
